The show "Tango Generations" is centered on the movements of man and woman; and Tango as a medium for direct communication. "Tango Generations" leaves behind the overworked sequences showing brothels and gangsters, as well as the clichéd stereotype of the passionate but tragic relationship between man and woman. Instead, in perfect harmony with the music, the dancers interact to negotiate new and different relationships. With the richness of the stories, the endless possibilities and revelations, "Tango Generations" is a showplace for the demonstration of artistic creativity.

In this performance Tango is a space - a creative space - in which each dance is a unique and unrepeatable event, and the "Tango Embrace" is a metaphor for the emotional bond between man and woman.

Over the last 20 years, the Argentinian Tango has experienced an unprecedented influx and far-reaching advances in its artistic possibilities. These developments, the "rebirth" of the Tango in the 90s, led to a rift between the generations in their basic understanding of the dance. "Tango Generations" demonstrates impressively and with great humor this deep-seated conflict between generations, which has ultimately helped the Tango to its great success.
