The masters of Argentine Tango are in Basel.
As part of the International TangoFestival OsterTango 2012, the Tango School Basel is pleased to announce the Seminario "Giros, Colgadas y movimientos espiralados" from Julio Balmaceda & Corina de la Rosa

Julio Balmaceda and Corina de la Rosa are one of the great Tango teachers worldwide.
They have been in great demand for many years for teaching, and they have danced at all the major festivals in the world.They are especially famous for their interpretation of the Waltz.
Elegance, sensuality, enthusiasm and a strong presence characterize both their dance and their teaching.Their tango style is unique, and their technique is refined and articulate.
The reflection and thoughtfulness apparent in their dancing combine superbly with the deeply felt emotion.
This is Tango in its essence and greatness!
No other couple can bring you so close to the intimacy and power of the Tango.

Topics of the Seminar
The idea for this seminar was the desire to demonstrate how we developed our technique, and the origin of our movements.
For us the most natural way to move is circular, with the body motion originating from the spine.
We are inspired by the feeling of floating, of flowing. We like the closed embrace, and because of the inherent limitations we developed the circular structure (the "essence Balmaceda" in tango salon). In this type of dancing we see the endless possibilities of the movement.
The seminar offers on the one hand, an analysis of our structure and technique. On the other hand, we wish to share with you our enjoyment of the rotating colgada-like and spiral movements.

The seminar covers 20 hours lesson.
