Tango lesssons for advanced dancers:
We have expanded the popular seminar series:
one theme, one group, one instructor couple - 4 days intensive.
Chicho " Mariano" Frumboli & Juana Sepulveda
Mariano "Chicho" Frumboli & Juana Sepulveda are an integral part of today's international tango scene. No other couple combines so well rhythm and virtuosity with silken smoothness. Their dance ranges between strength and lightness, humor and seriousness, lasciviousness, and forward movement. Their teaching is sophisticated and encourages each dancer to find new concepts for his/her own dance repertoire. They give 2 seminars: CJ1 "Milonga and Vals" and CJS2 "Technique rythm and dynamics"
Ruben & Sabrina Veliz
Already as teenagers Ruben & Sabrina Veliz discovered tango as a wonderful artistic dance and became especially famous as a dancing couple on stage. In big shows, they have travelled all around the world and have in the meantime also established themselves as a humorous and competent teaching couple. In their courses, Ruben & Sabrina give their students a solid foundation to learn technique and musicality. They give their seminar RSS1 "connection and communication in the couple" and the seminar RSS2 Tango on stage:effect/speed sequences, adagio, lift and jumps"
Fausto Carpino & Stephanie Fesneau
The young and talented couple brings a fresh 'Southern wind' to OsterTango. In the tango embrace, they draw on the full spectrum of possible movement; their dance is like sparkling spring water. For them the key to the beauty of tango is the combination of musicality and technique. In their classes, they show how it is possible to dance easily and naturally in the tango embrace. They will hold their seminar FSS1 "Musicality" and FSS2 "Embrace,connection during turns and sacadas"
Guillermo Barrinuevo & Mariela Sametband
Guillermo Barrionuevo & Mariela Sametband are passionate teachers. In their creative lessons, their collaboration with the old maestros and maestras is alsways present while their technique is subtle. They've got the essence of good teaching: Empathy, a clear structure and technique, dedication, and a great joy in teaching. They teach their seminar GMS "Three pilars: earth,center and connection", the Seminar GJS" only for men", the Seminar CMS "only for women" and the workshopGM1 "Milonga".
Silvia Ceriani
Silvia Ceriani was the life and dance partner of the legendary maestro Tété Rusconi. Silvia & Tété brought by invitation of Pina Bausch (Wuppertal) 1995 Tango Salón to Europe. After Tété’s death, Silvia taught in Buenos Aires, she kept the elegance and cadence of the Tango Salón always in her heart. Besides, she reached legend status herself as a DJane of the famous milonga „Catherdral“ in Buenos aires. On Saturday, Silvia will give a TangoTalk on the development of tango music from 70 until now.Including many music examples. (2hrs)
Jonathan Saavedra & Clarisa Aragón
Jonathan Saavedra & Clarisa Aragón, winners of the world championship "Tango de Pista" in 2015, have for their young age an already impressive carreer. They belong to the generation of young dancers who completely dedicate themselves to the art of dancing tango. In their class, they pass on their passion for the traditional tango. They teach their seminar JCS1 "All about the ocho and the pivot", the Seminar GJS "only for men", the Seminar CMS "only for women" and the workshop JC1 "Vals".
